DVDPedia: unable to delete spurious entry
Hello, Weird one this. I have an entry at the top of my list with a blank title which I cannot edit or delete. If I try to get rid of it, it disappears from the list but when I try to close the app it prompts: "Could not Save Changes. The database in memory is not in a valid state and will be r...

CDpedia Backup not working
Not a huge issue because I just do the compression and save manually, but I'm curious. On my system (Ventura, but this also happened with Monterey) DVDpedia backup works perfectly fine, but CDpedia doesn't. It chugs along saying 'Archiving' as it's supposed to, but then I get an error prompt "A...

Re: CDpedia Comments field
This is weird! It was indeed a space in the field causing the problem - however, this wasn't just on one CD but about a dozen all for the same artist. If it had only been the one I could have put it down to a mistake on my part, but for it to happen to that many is really odd. Putting blank space(s)...

CDpedia Comments field
For some reason, if the Comments field is empty it is still showing in the Display section - whereas all other fields only show if there is information contained within the field. This never used to be the case, and as I haven't altered any of my Preferences settings I'm assuming it's a bug. Working...

Re: Getting iSight to work
I'm having the same problem after buying a brand new MacBook Pro. I'm only getting a successful scan about a third of the time whereas it worked almost every time on my old three-year old laptop.

DVDpedia Theatrical year format
Could I suggest an addition to the date formats available, particularly for Theatrical: When looking at TV episode DVDs, particularly in the Table View, it would be handy to have a date format of nnnn-nn (e.g. 2006-07) to represent the Season/Series, which commonly start in one year and end in the n...

Re: DVDpedia and "episodes'
This method works for me: I list all the info I need (episode titles, actors etc.) in the Summary field. Having Summary as one of the columns in the Table View I can then use the Search function to find something specific, using quote marks if necessary. There are plenty of websites out there - tv.c...
