Cursor Position in DVDpedia Fullscreen Mode
I recently upgraded my Mac Mini to 10.5. Of course this also upgraded the DVD Player application to the newest version. I am now experiencing a minor issue when using DVDpedia (in Fullscreen mode) to launch DVD Player and play the linked video. It appears when I launch DVDpedia directly into fullscr...

Re: Launch DVDpedia directly into fullscreen mode
Connor, thanks for the response. Not sure I totally understand everything in your note, but it appears I will need to wait for the upcoming version for a possible solution. The current method of getting into full screen mode is acceptable, I was just checking to see if there was a way to bypass seei...

Re:
Quit the program in full screen mode to have it start up in full screen mode again automatically. Thank you for the reply. This suggestion works...sort of. DVDpedia automatically jumps to full screen mode, but it still shows the table view briefly before switching to the full screen mode. Ideally, ...

Launch DVDpedia directly into fullscreen mode
Is there a keystroke or Applescript command that will launch DVDpedia directly into fullscreen mode without showing the table view first? I would like to set up a behavior using Remote Buddy which will launch DVDpedia but I want DVDpedia to start in fullscreen mode.

Search returns too many results
Typically, when I add a new DVD entry into my library I use the Search feature to automatically retrieve the information for the title as well as the cover art. However, when I use the search feature, numerous results are often returned that seem to have little in common with my search title. In fac...

Conor, Thanks for the reply. I don't mind the beep, I was simply trying to determine what was the cause (I thought it might be some sort of error notification). By the way, I like the new features in full screen mode. Especially, the ability to view movie details and to filter the list by genre, rat...

Beep when launching VIDEO_TS after upgrade
I use DVDpedia (in Fullscreen mode) on my Mac Mini as a front end to my video server (using DVD Player). I also use Remote Buddy to customize the behavior of the Apple Remote. I have all my entries linked to the corresponding VIDEO_TS folders on my network drive. After the upgrade I made a few modif...

Thanks for the replies. I have been playing around with using DVD Player instead of VLC and now have it working close to what I want. However, there are a couple minor issues I am hoping someone might be able to help me with. When I launch a movie file from fullscreen DVDpedia (linked to the movie's...

How to Launch VIDEO_TS folder in VLC
I am in the process of linking my DVDpedia entries to the associated VIDEO_TS folders containing the contents of DVDs I have backed-up to my hard drive. This works fine except the movies launch in DVD Player rather than in VLC which is my preferred video player. How do I get DVDpedia to launch the m...
