Thanks, Conor. I tried the British Amazon and that worked. I think, unfortunately, DVDpedia is not currently designed for television show DVDs. For example, each of the Inspector Morse sets (season) has four different shows. There seems to be no place to enter that information. There is also no way ...

I am adding to this thread because I have found a new problem. Unfortunately the problem is more with the IMdb, not so much with DVDPedia. I have just bought three seasons of "Inspector Morse" ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092379/ ). IMdb has all of the series episodes on one page. So, I ...

Not related to solving your 'auto-search' query, I just wanted to offer the following site for poster art (in case you weren't aware of it); I've always found it quite complete and good quality http://www.impawards.com Thanks, I've already got it bookmarked  If you are also interested, I've f...

DVDpedia relies on whatever cover the search site sends along but you can replace those covers with posters or other images if you prefer. Thanks for your reply, Nora. Yes, I am aware that I can replace the covers, however, my point is that information for the DVD is best retrieved from sites that ...

Poster art as option instead of cover art for DVDpedia

I am really not at all happy with the downloading of DVD box cover images. I feel that it is, in a way, a promotional device for the DVD companies. Also, many of my DVDs are from old, classic films. The original posters, when I can find them, are much more "sympathetic" with the film than ...

Many thanks. That was the problem - I used the add window. It now works. Here is the URL if you want to try yourself: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0293812/

Thanks. But, if you mean drag the URL to the DVDpedia "add" search window, I have tried it already and that does not work. It just says it can't find it.

dvdpedia and TV show DVDs

I am trying to enter several multi-set TV shows I recently purchased on DVD. In brief, it does not work. Imdb does have all the correct information for the series, for example. However, using the name of the series plus episode number does not work. Series name plus episode name also does not work. ...

Thanks from me too. I also have a question: if the problem is with a plugin, would it be possible to only download the plugin instead of the whole application?

I would like to see a preference like for other screens that asks which fields should be included in the full screen display. I have made a custom field, for example, that is very important in my situation and would like to have that custom field displayed in the full screen mode. Thanks!
