Does this mean in the future the pedia's will fully support html5?
They already do. :)
Would it be appropriate of me to start using:

Code: Select all

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 5.0 Transitional//EN"
in the Info Templates?

Re: LeoTab youtube problem

The Pedias no longer support Flash player but YouTube gives users the option to view content in HTML5 (currently opt-in only). Click on the "Join the HTML5 Trial" link at the bottom of this page and after that the LeoTab trailer link will work as usual again........... Oh well done - goin...

Re: LeoTab youtube problem

I think you will have to wait till the Bruji Pedia team get back to you. In the mean time you can get it to work for you by changing your Preference setting to call your external browser: DVDpedia Menu - Preferences - General Tab - Tick Box: Open links in external browser Cheers & Merry Christmas

Re: LeoTab youtube problem

You are right it is not working when calling the DVDpedia internal browser. I never noticed this before as I use the default external browser using my own designed Info Template which has the Play Trailer facility. The code is very simple: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=[k...

Moderator Collections - "Default values:" Bug

During the Moderating of Doghouse Collections, I have just discovered that when the fields for "Region" & "Video format" are not already present and the site you "Update from" does not provide that information, then the program is inserting the "Default values:...

Re: Checking UPC/EAN/ISBN accuracy in Doghouse

I have actually refined it a bit more now so that it only searches within Movies & TV: <!--IFupc<div class="field"><div class="title">[translate:upc]:</div><div class="text"><a href="http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dmovies-tv&field-...

Re: cover art lookup - use a different term

Thanks for that Conor - I have always found changing the word "cover" to "DVD" gave better results so have used Terminal to make it permanent.

Checking UPC/EAN/ISBN accuracy in Doghouse

You state in the Moderator guide that: UPC/EAN/ISBN - these are very important for searches using a scanner or webcam so make sure entries have the appropriate digits. The only way I have found to check if this number is accurate is to check it out in Amazon.com. I was cutting and pasting the UPC/EA...

Actor Headshot Thumbnail Photos/Images in Info View

As per this topic http://www.bruji.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2058 Perhaps in the future Doghouse could have a database of headshot thumbnail photos and the standard Info Templates or the main App could be coded to fetch these and display them in the Info View window similar to other database...

Headshot Thumbnail Images in Info View

That is very useful. Here is a tip you will enjoy even more. Go to dougweb and you can download all the head shots for all actors with all possible name variations then drop them into your persons folder (it's only about 40 mega bytes). Thank you for sharing your tips with your info view changes an...

jquery script

Can someone explain to me, a laymen, writing/modifying templates, what the jquery script at the bottom of most of the Bruji Info Templates code is, mean, does, etc. I know nothing about Java scripting. <script src="includes/jquery.min.js"></script> <script src="includes/jquery.masonry...

Meta Tags - filterLinks

Is there a way to selectively add a filterLink to an Info Template Entry Tag. e.g. filterLink by country or studio or custom field etc. Also is there a way to selectively Turn off fields in the current filterLinks. Or maybe in a future release a Tick box in Preferences - Fields to turn filterLinks o...

Thanks Nora - and yes copy-paste is the way I am doing this - a bit laborious but will do till, hopefully, an update, another one to the long list I am sure.

Cheers

Links

How can you add the same Link/s to multiple items at the one go?

There seems to be no way to do this in the multi-edit panel.
