WishList auto update to main library
To enable the facility to automatically move items from your Wishlist to your Main Library (all pedia's) when the "Date Added" field is filled. If some people do not want this then add a tick box in Preferences. I know you can manually drag & drop but it would be so much better if this...

Re: iPhone apps revisited
Alex, I need some sort of app to carry around my list of DVDs & etc. I don't know what timeframe you have in mind for pocketpedia...sooner would be better :-)...but is there any way to export the DVDpedia database as a text based document or anything else in the mean time? How about posting a p...

Re: Pocketpedia2
Suggestion for the next Pocketpedia - to enable bar code scanning via the iPhone/iPad camera. This would be great for adding to wish lists cause you can not afford or want to wait till price specials.
I too are willing to be a Beta tester.

Re: overdue dueDate statement
Thanks Conor. Java script is a bit over my head. Perhaps the tag isOverdue can be placed on the Future List.Conor wrote:The Pedias themselves don't have an isOverdue tag, that you would be able to use in the <!--IF statement.

overdue dueDate statement
I am trying to modify an InfoTemplate so that in the "boxborrowed" if the [key:dueDate] is past (overdue) then the [translate:Due Date] and [key:dueDate] blink <blink> </blink.
Is this possible?

Re: Actors, Directors URL Links
I updated the post above. I mixed up the IMDB link with a link for a regular Google-search. But thats fixed now. I wrote a modified Collections and Mint InfoTemplate for DVDpedia which has been accepted into the Extras pages and I wish to thank Jonas for the help with the IMDb & Wikipedia code....

Re: Alternative to Amazon
I have been updating my meager DVD collection of 303 movies and I am discovering that Wikipedia is consistently having the best info. Whilst it does not contain all the info, I am able to grab the missing pieces from other sites such as IMDB & Amazon UK/USA. Perhaps when Bruji's Doghouse is up a...

This all so works a treat in the DVDpedia 4.8.3 Beta 5 (Doghouse) version with the in-build browser.

Re: Actors, Directors URL Links
Glad it worked! I would recommend that before you start making more changes, make a copy of the file "Collection.html" and rename it something like "MyCollection.html". Then place that file in the following directory instead: [Your Home Folder]/Library/Application Support/DVDped...

Re: Actors, Directors URL Links
Anyway for the life of me I can not find the InfoView HTML file you refer to. I have looked into DVDpedia package contents and support folders but can not find it. I am not looking properly obviously. OK I have found it: /Contents/Resources/WebViewFiles/en/Collection.html And your code for Wikipedi...

Re: Actors, Directors URL Links
By editing your InfoView you can make the names clickable without having to enter any URLs manually. I have updated my so I get to the persons page on IMDB by clicking their name in the InfoView. Just open the HTML file for the InfoView you are using and find the following lines: Thank you for all ...

Actors, Directors URL Links
In the Add Edit where Actors, Directors are entered/listed is there away to url link their names to their bio site such as Wikipedia or IMDB (I prefer Wikipedia) and once that link has been made the database then searches for their names in other DVD entries and automatically associates that link to...

Re: Export to iPhone
Thank you Nora - I will give it go. But will have to wait a couple of weeks as I am of overseas. Of course all this will not be necessary if Amazon would come to the party. Oh well can not wait till the new release of Pocketpedia.

Re: Export to iPhone
Nora - I have found two ways to do this. Both require iOS 4.* and iBooks 1.1 which will handle the PDF format. Method 1 - Export - Text - SmallList (edited as MyPhoneList): <!--BeginRepeat-->[key:title] <!--IFcustom1(B[key:custom1])ENDcustom1--><!--IFcustom3(G[key:custom3])ENDcustom3--> <!--EndRepea...
