Pocketpedia : seen/read button
In the next version of Pcketpedia, it would be great be able to mark items as seen/read, as we can in the Mac Pedias. For instance, when I am viewing DVDs , it would be mucho easier for me to record this information from my iPad (always close to me) than on my Mac which is in a different room. Ditto...

Re: Pocketpedia3
Thank you!
Anyway, it is not easy to shake an iPad. Maybe it is better to add a dedicated button ?

Re: Pocketpedia3
I've just bought Pocketpedia 3.
On the iPad, shaking seems to do nothing. Is it only working on iPhone and iPod ?

Re: Pocketpedia3
On Pocketpedia3, is there a function to make a random selection in a collection ?
We intend to use this to pick a movie at random...

Re: .nfo export for XBMC cataloging
I'm reactivating this old post.
Even with latest release (5.1.3), the export template does not work with an .nfo file.
I have to change the template to a .txt file, and then rename every exported file.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks, Nora.
I just bought them on the App Store, and the upgrade went smoothly.

Re: 5.0 is here!
I consider upgrading my two pedia apps by buying them on the appstore, rather than using the paid update. (Mostly because I have some cash on my iTunes account...) But I have some questions : - Are the Appstore versions the same as the other ones ? - with the AppStore version, will future updates be...

Re: uncensored sync to PocketPedia2
Great idea. Just used it now. Be careful : the tip with automation does not refresh the database, so I had to delete Pocketpedia2 from my iPod, add it again and redo the full sync. I've also added in all my Pedias an intelligent list to find all the items containing 'amazon' in the URL field. Just t...

Re: Amazon Killing Mobile Apps That Use Its Data
I am also very disappointed by this decision. As many other people here, i use Pocketpedia only to keep track of my collections on the road, and not to search Amazon site (I own an iPod Touch, so being connected on the road is not very frequent ...). And most of the datas describing my collections w...

Re: PocketPedia: Viewing suggestions
Just a simple idea : why not use the movement sensors of the iPhone/iPod Touch to implement it : you shake it, and you get a random reordering of the list you are viewing !

PocketPedia makes me buy DVD/Bookpedias :)
In history, i had my DVD/books collections on my Palm (in ThinkDB2 databases), which was great when I was shopping... I was expecting the same on my iPod Touch. So I have tried PockedPedia, which is exactly what I need. After some experimentation with the trial version of DVDPedia, i have bought it ...
