Re: Wish List Feature
You can select one or more items in the Wish List, run Edit > Mark As > Bought , and the selected items will be moved from WL to the Library collection. That seems easier to me than re-adding movies to Library that were originally added in Wish List, then being asked to delete those Wish List duplic...

Re: [DVDpedia] display search type in toolbar search field
Actually I've got the toolbar descriptive text visible but never noticed it changing to identify the current search field type. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Guess I'm so used to it staying the same in other apps. :) So the suggestion is less important for me now though it would still be u...

[DVDpedia] display search type in toolbar search field
I'd like to suggest that the current criteria for the toolbar search (e.g. All Fields, Columns Shown, Title, et.al.) be displayed in the field when it's otherwise empty. That would make it unnecessary to click the search arrow to view the current setting in the menu if deciding whether or not to cha...

Re: DVDpedia: Separate Fields for Studio & Publisher
Thanks for the suggestion. I'd already tried using "Movie is (not) in collection …" criteria but soon realized it could become too much trouble maintaining it across multiple Smart Collections in ways I'd be using it. What I want to do is quickly list different subsets of entries in the ex...

Re: PocketPedia Update
I assume you realise that all submissions to the App Store must now be OS 3.0 compatible; if not it will not be approved. I'd heard that, but not: Also as soon as 3.0 is available to customers any apps in the store that are not compatible will be removed by Apple? Makes sense for the long term but ...

Re: DVDpedia: Separate Fields for Studio & Publisher
A comment/suggestion related to earlier posts in the thread: I'd really like to create Smart Collections that could search excluded collections (especially Wish List) without enabling the global "Include library-independent entries in smart collections" preference. Or, achieve similar resu...

It's not currently possibly but I'm pretty sure it's been requested.

Re: Dvdpedia on AppleTv
Since it's definitely unsupported by Apple it's questionable if Bruji should offer any official support for doing it, i.e. beyond answering simple questions to be nice.Conor wrote:You shouldn't really be running DVDpedia on your AppleTV

Re: Please help - syncing pocketpedia to dvdpedia on iPhone
The connection for the sync ONLY works via the wireless connection; unfortunately third-party programs don't have access to the USB connection. Well, that cancels the reply to druid I'd just started composing. :) I was wrongly thinking DVDpedia/Pocketpedia synching had been using USB while it had a...

Re: "Rebuild All" for autofill
Of course a movie then deleted would still contain the value in the autofill. I wasn't aware of that. It could have been possible for non-default Auto Fill values to be automatically removed when all db references to them were gone. So, it seems Rebuild does that job manually. But will it remove va...

Re: DVDpedia 4.4.3 doesn't maintain separate autofill data
There are two different extensions Very true; my bad. Even running "file ~/Library/Application\ Support/DVDpedia/Database.pediadata" last night didn't help me notice its extension not being .dvdpedia. Thanks for the detailed explanation. Except for debugging and other special cases...

To my surprise that's even documented in Working with DVDpedia > Sorting entries. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
