Re: "Rebuild All" for autofill
What's an example of when you'd want or need to use Rebuild? Some of Auto Fill values (e.g. for Tags) seem like they're automatically rebuilt when db fields are modified. I'm wondering if an overzealous Rebuild All might cause conflicts with at least those.

Re: DVDpedia 4.4.3 doesn't maintain separate autofill data
I think what you're suggesting is that *.dvdpedia could be a self-contained package, including autofill.xml and any other db-specific files currently shared in ~/Library/Application Support/DVDpedia. Similar to DEVONthink 2.0 *.dtBase2 and EyeTV *.eyetv packages, for example. Hmm, I just remembered ...

Re: OSX Spaces Issue
When I open DVDpedia in Space 6 then immediately move it to Space 9 with a click-hold on the toolbar and Control-9, the Preferences and Search Web windows will open on Space 9. If I then move the main window back to Space 6 (with a toolbar click-hold and Control-6) the other windows will open on Spa...

Might be necessary to do this after every app update, even if Sparkle is used(?)

Re: DVDpedia: Separate Fields for Studio & Publisher
Thanks for that Auto Fill tab tip. I hadn't been back there since a short look when I first used DVDpedia.

Re: DVDpedia: Separate Fields for Studio & Publisher
Thanks, Conor. Speaking of tags, can a complete list of them be displayed from within DVDpedia? Workaround is to look at the tags key array in autofill.xml, which is fine if there's no easier way.

Re: PocketPedia Update
… the next version will take some extensive testing as it has two way sync Ideally for me two-way synching could be limited to specific (possibly only excluded?) collections. For example, I might want to add items to a relatively small collection in Pocketpedia while browsing DVDs at a video store ...

Tags, for example. I'm kind of spoiled by how thoroughly autofill works in iTunes.sjk wrote:Btw, any possibility of adding Auto Fill to Smart Collection criteria?

[DVDpedia 4.4.3] collection unsorts when editing name
Editing a collection name temporarily unsorts the collection until it's deselected/reselected. Or start editing a collection name, cancel by clicking some non-active part of the UI, and watch the collection unsort. Both cases are reproducible here 100% of the time.

Re: Find/Replace
Got it. Looks like any value modifications in a multi-entry edit sets the corresponding checkboxes, and unsetting checkboxes afterwards will ignore those modifications. All my tests with different Tag modification combinations worked like I hoped they would so I'm more confident about changing value...

Re: Help Customizing dfProHTML Export Template?
I'd never tried explicitly adding an entry to a folder (e.g. With Add DVD… ), and got a warning dialog when testing that now: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/71730/Add%20DVD%E2%80%A6%20to%20folder%20-%20Confirmation%20dialog.png And it's impossible to drag entries into folders. Re: iTunes backup of PocketPedia hours long
Thanks, Conor. After some extensive DVDpedia updates a couple days ago the Pocketpedia synching to my iPod touch, while slow, was still significantly faster than the subsequent iTunes synching backup. That ain't right. ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Re: "complete collection" feature in Bookpedia
Excellent. I'll try it as soon after "importing" my final batch of rental entries from old paper receipts, before moving on to theatre stubs and checking if my old Palm OS db can be salvaged. Such a relief getting years of this different backlog all conveniently stored in DVDpedia. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
