Topic: iTunes CD Info Plug-In -- Where did it go?

After restarting CDpedia, there should be an extra little menu after the Help menu. It's a small picture of a plug-in. If the automatic install does not work, you can click on the name of the plug-in on the extras page, to get a link to manual install.

Thank you Scott. Can't stop laughing at the chief monster bit. :) Our marketing is not as pervasive as Delicious, but it's the best kind, sincere and from our users. Like many things in life, it seems it is who you know and not how good your product is that gets you media attention. Our measure of s...

Thank you, that was a nice reply. I really like the don't-take-my-word-for-it-take-a-look-at-the-facts-on-version-tracker touch. It is through our customers spreading the news that we do our marketing. Thank you.

Hi Jodi,

It should do it automatically. But email us your serial number, order number or email you used to buy Bookpedia and we can fix it for you.

Send me any errors in your console log from DVDpedia after you do this please. Also try the "Rebuild Database" command from under the help menu in case that helps. (it could be an incorrect date format that sneaked in). If it doesn't help, I will probably need you your info.xml file so I c...

Hi Bill, Both of your suggestions are so good that we have been thinking about them for quite a while. On adding more custom fields we are looking at making all the applications more flexible so that the limit is not set by us to four or six or eight but can grow to an unlimited amount. Flexibility ...

You can search the tracks by clicking on the magnifying glass and limiting the search to tracks. There is no way sort the tracks separately as CDpedia is geared towards CD and not single tracks.

Thanks for the suggestions Buck. It is tricky to make the fullscreen mode flexible and keep it good looking at the same time; but we are looking into different possibilities.

The site is a tough one as it doesn't have a search, except by catalogue number. It has a directory structure which means a lot of pages to load and a lot of pages to parse to be able to do a search. If you are still interested in tackling such a hard site, let us know and we can get you a blank plu...

Thank you for the suggestion Bill. Loading the meta data from a PDF was something we were looking at for Bookpedia, but I wasn't aware that it could be changed using Spotlight?

Another way to translate part of the program is to show package contents on the Bookpedia application and navigate to Contents/Resources and create a new folder named pt.lproj. Then from the English.lproj folder copy the RealTitles.string file to your new pt.lproj open it up in a test editor and tra...

It's not cover flow, but the fullscreen mode is very nice if you haven't yet checked out that feature.

I thought this is what you might mean but I wasn't sure. That is a trickier one; I am not sure there is a solution that doesn't involve JavaScript. Since you can export the total number of entries ([Global:TotalEntries]), you can place that in a "for" loop in a JavaScript function. The fun...

That is a very useful tip, thanks. A lot of serious users have collection ID set. In the future we would like to expose the internal ID used by the programs for exactly this purpose. Also labelling the images with this internal ID. It would allow for smart updating of exported pages and more importa...

The index is created on the sorted column. Since it is in this order that the movies are exported. You can still create the index, but it will correspond to the sorted column. The page for "C" on a sorted Genre would contain "Comedy", "Classics" ... You can even have th...
