What you want to change is the way dates are displayed in the preferences. In the release field in the preferences change "%b %Y" to "%Y" to display only the year.

Amazon makes a distinction between foreign books and regular books. Make sure to set the search type to foreign books right next to where you select the amazon.jp site, when looking for English books.

The new version enters fullscreen mode if quit in fullscreen mode. To exit fullscreen mode press any of the following: Q, ESC, command-period, delete or command-option-f.
