I was going to mention the IncrementalNumber tag but you are a smart iBoy and did not need any guidance. :) That is a nice looking page by the way. :P

We have a plug-in interface for this kind of thing. At the moment you need a moderate grasp of cocoa programming. You can build a plug-in to interface with any type of database. If you feel like exploring the plug-in possibility the web page with information is http://www.bruji.com/howtos/plugins.html

At the moment it is not possible as the image name is based on the order of the entry within a particular collection. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Thanks Preston for the post. Unfortunately the numbers are interpreted as a whole numbers because of the presence of non-numeric characters before the number.

You can drag and drop artwork straight into the cover well or go to the site via the info view (ctrl-click inside the info view and choose 'Go to site', type in the URL of the site and then ctrl-click on the image you want as cover image and choose 'make cover of selected entry'.)

The multiple add always goes through the net so if you aren't connected to the internet at the time, add the UPCs or titles or whatever you're using to search, into a text file (entries separated by returns) and then copy paste that file into the multiple add when you're ready and connected to the i...

Would it matter to your wife is the order wasn't alphabetical? Because then it could be easily done with a CSS template. However, the authors would not come out as you put them in your example. If that's not a problem, let me know and we can put the template together for you. (Email us at the suppor...

The autofill fields are sorted alphabetically (most of them at least). The pop-up window when typing sounds great but will probably be a while in coming since that might be complicated to implement. But thanks for the idea.

Unfortunately there is no 'undo' if you do the 'get advanced info' in one big batch. If you do them one by one then you can check whether the info is correct before adding it to the database but depending on the size of your library that might not be an option or simply too annoying.. We'll see if w...

If you want to keep adding books instead of being taken back to the search window, go into your Preferences and uncheck the option to 'Return to search window after add'.

And we'll try and add the arrow keys for navigation in the drawer. Thanks.

In the new version of CDpedia (3.x) you can have library independent collections so you could separate your regular library from the Christmas collection. Just create a new collection and choose 'Exclude collection from library' from the File menu. The collection icon will turn grey then to remind y...
