I hope you can come back to DVDpedia, the only one I use, as I've Thousands of entries in there and a change after decades of using it won't be possible.

This thread has been running for almost half a year without a reply or comment from the developer. Is DVDpedia still under active development or are our comments/feedback going into a black hole?

Second that. I'd like to know what's going on with the Pedias, although I'm down to only DVDpedia these days anyway. Been using DVDpedia for decades and it'd be a shame if it's coming to the end of its lifetime.

Don't know what's going on there. Occasionaly adding a new title doesn't work and I've to enter the IMDb reference, but mostly it seems to be OK. No idea. Not a consistent bug for me.

Just encountered the same bug. Was trying to add "Cape Fear" (1991) and IMDb failed. Copying the IMDb title ID "tt0101540" into the search field worked though. Thanks for the advice!!

This is surely a bug that needs to be addressed.

Conor, can you comment on that a bit more. I need to be logged into IMDb on Safari and then my own ratings are transferred to DVDpedia or the IMDb overall rating is transferred? There's only one rating field in DVDpedia as far as I'm aware.

Gosh, it's been 5 long years since I posted that feature request… and it's still one of the most glaring omissions in DVDpedia. Cannot believe nobody ever started implementing that. How difficult can it be to sync your individual rating and the overall rating from your IMDb profile?

The latest update of DVDpedia broke a key functionality when editing information for a film. In previous versions before 5.0.3 I was able to select TMDb as a source for the basic info and artwork, then used Wikipedia as a source to get a summary, and finally IMDb for the tags and any other field tha...

There're plenty of free books on Amazon. I even think they've a section dedicated to ebooks in the public domain. As I'm not a programmer/developer I cannot tell whether MOBI is more complex than EPUB or PDF... but it seems to be the format chosen by Amazon for their Kindle. Hence all my books, and ...

Well, there's plenty of free .mobi files directly on Amazon... Try "Treasure Island" by Stephenson for starters, a great novel anyway.

Any update on Kindle's .mobi format? I hate using the Kindle software on my Mac.
