In DVDpedia on my Mac I have linked all my movies to an external hard drive where I have converted all my movies to MP4 format, and I can easily play any movie over wifi just by clicking the Play button. I had the same problem with the newest Pocketpedia. When I removed the checkmark next to Old connection, the synching worked again! Thanks a lot!

This is exactly what I did, but as I wrote, the Genre field is not deleted completely, at least not in my library. "Something" is left which obstructs DVDpedia from getting the info from IMDb.

I found a solution myself. I just made a small change in the title fields on each of the four movies in DVDpedia, and opened and saved the album covers in Photoshop. Now when these titles were updated, Pocketpedia synched them correctly! Then I changed the titles back to the original names.
