I installed CDpedia using the suggested AppCleaner and re-installed the latest Beta version. Unfortunately Cdpedia still uses the build in Camera instead of external one. The external one is the default when opening Face Time or Photo Booth. But both apps have a camera selection menu... CDpedia work...

CDPedia stopped using my external Logitech Camera to add Albums to my collection. This was working perfectly until today.
Photo Boot and Face Time are both set to use the external Camera and there is no issue with them, but they have a camera selector....

Please try out the beta version of CDpedia , it should not have this issue, it also looks for a possible "'iTunes Library.xml". No changes to the current Version regarding the playlist drop down. Otherwise you can set the path explicitly in the terminal with: defaults write com.bruji.cdpe...
