Re: Errors upon migration to a new Mac
No luck, unfortunately, still getting error 11. Also, my database is duplicated after trying to open the original: DatabaseReplaced-1.dvdpd

Errors upon migration to a new Mac
I have updated my Mac and am having the following error upon launching DVDpedia: NSSQLiteErrorDomain error 11. My DVDpedia folder seems to be intact, at least best I can tell (there are the Database.dvdpd file, backups, covers, etc.). Any ideas? Thank you.

Re: IMDb not grabbing Tag data
I have used AppCleaner to remove caches, plists and all other inessential files. Same problem: when I attempt to Update from IMDb (i.e. , right-clicking on a single movie in the List view) I get a "Updating.. entries from IMDb" progress bar which freezes midway and must force quit. Yet, wh...

Re: IMDb not grabbing Tag data
I am attempting to use "update from IMDb" on an existing title and I freeze and must force quit. This behavior has not changed in months . I am using DVDpedia 6.2.1 beta 223. When I attempt to add a movie and search using imdb from the dropdown and then try adding a found title I (consiste...

Re: Import from IMDb seems not to work correctly any more
Still not working for me (i.e. version 6.1.1, Beta 206): when I right-click and attempt to Update from IMDb, I hang. I should note that before attempting to update via IMDB, I first filled in some info from a TMDB "update from" (which, e.g., fills in the IMDb ID). On the other hand, if I a...

Re: Import from IMDb seems not to work correctly any more
Even with Beta 202 I am crashing upon attempting to update movie info from IMDb (i.e., from the menu option). If, on the other hand, I attempt to edit a single movie and then update from IMDb by clicking on the gear icon, I pull up the side window (from which to select the proper match). When trying...

Re: Import from IMDb seems not to work correctly any more
I am afraid I am unable to do this because upon attempting to add the movie I get an error: "Could not Save Changes: The database in memory is not in a valid state and will be reloaded from the hard disk." Clicking on "Reload" apparently refreshes the db but does not permit me to...

Re: Import from IMDb seems not to work correctly any more
Thanks Conor. As you know, most of the subsections on the imdb site (e.g., cast) are on a separate URL (e.g., https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096895/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast ). Most of these do not appear to have changed but I haven't tested my own scripts to see if they are broken. Good luck.

Re: Import from IMDb seems not to work correctly any more
I am having the same problem as Black Smurf: attempting to add new movies to DVDpedia brings up a match page with minimal data. Specifically, the only fields I see populated are: Director, Genre, Duration, Theatrical, and Rating. There is no cover art. I have confirmed this with several movies. Wors...

duplicate metacritic scores
Pulling up a Statistics report on my movie collection shows duplicate metacritic scores. Perhaps simply a parsing problem (one of the pairs of similar scores has, e.g., a space)?

IMDB duration age rating errors
It looks like perhaps IMDB has changed its layout wrt film age ratings? Thus, I am now frequently getting a film duration of "15" when I fetch/scrape from IMDB, and upon inspection it looks like that is the film (age) rating in certain countries? For example, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt00...
Re: re-import
so if i were modifying, say, 100 movies/dvd's i would paste in 100 UPDATE statements keying on (in my case) collectionID and modifying the custom field of my choice? I gather that the field name for my custom field is the one I have actually assigned to it, e.g. 'TSPDT Rank', not CustomText1? are sp...
re-import
This has probably been answered elsewhere, but I have been unable to track it down, so apologies in advance. I am trying to import data for a new custom field into my existing DVDPedia db. What field am I matching on? Is the Collection ID the primary key? IMDB id? Title? I am pretty certain I have d...
