I have been using a barcode scanner to enter items into all of my pedia apps but I have to scan the item then hit enter to accept it. Is there a way to have it add the ISBN to the list automatically when scanned so I can power-scan a bunch of items at one time?
There's no automated way at the moment but you could make a list of all your UPCs and then put that into the 'add multiple' feature. It depends on your scanner whether it lets you scan UPCs into a text edit program but if it does, this could speed things up a bit for you. (entries to the 'add multiple' feature have to be separated by a return.)
Most scanners send a return after the scan, allowing you to add the book, or use the add multiple to create a long list. But from the sound of it, it seems your scanner is not sending a return. So I think the best idea is like Nora said try it in a text document and then copy paste to the add multiple.
