Web template sorted by Smart Collections (Bookpedia)

Post by Sappetta »

Hi!

I currently use the "MySortedIndexWithStats" template to export my book collection to the web.

This works fine, but I'd much prefer to have the indexing sorted by Smart Collections than by genre.

This way, for example, I could have "The Treasure Island" appearing both in the "English Literature" collection and in the "Children's Books" collection also on my web page - just as I have them in my BookPedia.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

Federica
P.S. I love your applications :-)

Thank you for the feedback. Since the export is collection based it won't export several collection automatically. In the meantime if you know a little HTML, export each smart collection to a new folder and then create an index page that would link to each folder. After that you would only need to update the smart collections that have changed and only update the main index if you add new smart collections.

Hmmm ... I'll have to work that out a bit, since I'm not so good with HTML - or I could bug my brother! :-) Thank you very much for the suggestion, though!
