Add Editor to Main

I'd like to see the Editor added to the main information area.

In the thread linked below, it was explained that the information can be pulled from IMDb. That's great but from what I can tell that information is only storable in the credits section and not in Main. I'd like to have the Editor listed in the database along with the Director and Writer and Producer. I think that cinema editors are unappreciated far too often and I'd like to have the ability to see them listed in my database instead of having to open every individual DVD listed and look in it's credits to find out who the editor was. If there's already a way to do this please let me know. I hope my explanation was clear.

You can use one of the custom fields, rename it 'Editor' (in the Preferences/General) and then move the field to the main tab of the add/edit window (in the Preferences/Fields). Since the program won't know what you're using the custom field for, it won't fill in the information automatically. With a bit of programming you could have it do that too though. Take a look at this post for more details on that.

I have over two hundred DVDs, adding a custom field and then inserting the Editor for every single one would take way too long. Also, that sort of defeats the purpose of using IMDb to automatically get the information. If it's not too complicated couldn't this be added in the next update? Learning how to program code isn't something I'm interested in. I'm not impatient, I don't mind waiting a few weeks.
