Awesome program, I like it a lot and I'm glad I purchased it. I used it to catalog my CD collection pretty easily.
However, cataloging my record collection using this software is pretty slow, since I need to manually enter pretty much everything. Perhaps, this process could be sped up by using more search options like discogs.com or gemm.com.
Also, I'd like to see a pop-up field for format (12", 10", 7", CD, Cassette, 8-track, whatever) and fill-in field for catalog number (like those found on many independent record labels: for example: sub-pop uses SP###, Lookout uses LK###). I'm using custom fields for these currently, of course.
I would imagine that publicizing these features would make your program more popular with collectors of vinyl, as well. Using the search feature, I see that this has been asked quite a few times, actually. I hope that my reference to the two databases above is helpful.

Well put DemonRally...
Love CDpedia but just isn't that useful for me since I own 95% vinyl (or digital)
These features would attract a whole new crowd and fill a void of something that just doesn't exist (as far as Ive been able to tell).
Please, add these features soon!!!!

Re: more features for CDpedia with regards to vinyl
I too am using CDPedia for vinyl and have filled most of my needs by using custom fields. Another database (of sorts) that I use when entering any data is rateyourmusic.com.
The real problem with all of the vinyl related web sites and databases is that there is no authoritative info for tracking these. Each site uses different standards for what they track and don't track and are all user generated, which means that the quality and completeness of the information will range widely. That said, if it exists on discogs.com then that is the info I usually enter into CDPedia; having a database lookup for that would be wonderful.

Scott nailed the problem on the head when mentioning the lack of good databases for vinyl. However do take a look at at the search site pop-up in the find window and try out the DiscoGS option to gather information from that site. Thank you for all the feedback we are keeping it mind as we develop the program and look to bring new features that might help address the lack of standardized information on the internet.
