[CDPedia]Auto-fill and iTunes

Hello,

When I enter some old CD's, tracks on the CD are seldom retrieved from various sources (Amazon etc.).

But it seems that, when asking "Get iTunes CD info", it makes a new item, and I don't manage to merge the 2 sources: scanning and iTunes.

Is it intended to work like that, or did I miss something ?

There is no option to merge entries in CDpedia although that is on our to do list for the future. Unfortunately the 'Get CD info' feature that queries Gracenote via iTunes does not work like the 'Get Advanced Info' feature but you could do it in reverse, i.e. use 'Get CD info' first and then use the little gear button in the Add/Edit window to search Amazon to gather advanced information. (The advantage of the little gear button over the 'Get Advanced Info' menu command is that if there is more than one result returned from Amazon, you can choose which one is the correct one. The 'Get Advanced Info' command will automatically add the first result.)
