BPM for tracks

Post by BigNoud »

Hello all.

first of all thnx for creating a nice collectors program for my huge cd collection.

got a little question though, is it perhaps possible to implent something so i can fill in the BPM for each track and do a BPM search afterwards.
it would be a great extra for me so i can browse the tracks according to BPM.

tia for your reply and hopefully a nice update in the future.

Thank you for the feedback. We have no plans for a BPM field, CDpedia is more album oriented then track oriented so this information does quite fit with CDpedia. You are welcome to use the composer column at track level for that information if you are not using that column. Remember if you want to search the composer at track level you would need to change the search scope in the search magnifying glass to "Tracks Other" to include the composer column.

If, like me, you use CDPedia to catalogue your vinyl 12" collection - you could use a custom field for BPM.
