When using the template you must select "Export -> Text (tab) -> Template (check box) -> template name (pop up menu)". You can name the template anything you want and save it into the data folder under "Templates" (~/Library/Application Support/DVDpedia/Templates/MyExport.txt) The template would be something like this (with extra columns for all the fields you are using):
