pocketpedia not launching

Hi,
I'm a bit stuck - I've installed pocketpedia on the iphone 3g through the appstore - but it's not even launching.
It's the only piece of software from the appstore I've found so far that doesn't work at all - which is typical as it's the one that I really wanted to work...

When I click on the icon to launch, it shows a white screen for about 3 seconds - then drops straight back out to the dashboard.

Any ideas?
I've so far tried uninstalling it, re installing it through the itunes desktop interface instead of through the iphone appstore icon, making sure the desktop is authorized through itunes, made sure firewall is off, etc - doesn't make any difference at all.

Hi again,
panic over - issue now sorted out!

I did a full wipe / restore of the 3g iphone, which seemed to do the trick.
Curiously, although itunes said the firmware was already up to date, after the restore the iphone was on firmware 5a347 - before it was on 5a345.
If anyone hits the same problem, hope that helps.
