The title of this feature-request 'triggered' another idea (just 'brainstorming' here
);
Add 'spotted at' (GPS) location
Would it be possible to add the current 'location' (GPS location) to an item in PocketPedia, for example;
I am looking for a certain DVD on my wish-list and while shopping, I see that DVD in a shop, but I want to
continue shopping, because other shops might sell it at a lower price.
I open PocketPedia, look up the DVD in my wish-list, tap the
'spotted' button.
The iPod/iPhone automatically looks up the current address. I can enter the name of the shop and the price
of the DVD. (If I don't have GPS, I can look-up the address in my address book)
If I later on find the same DVD in another shop, I can compare the price with the other shops and if I decide to buy the DVD at
that shop, I can click
'navigate' to have my iPod/iPhone help me find my way back to that shop!
After buying the DVD, simply click the
'bought here' button to move the DVD from the wish-list to my collection and, because
I already entered the 'price' and name of the shop, those fields will also automatically be filled
)
Again, just brainstorming here, but this seems like the kind of integration only the iPod/iPhone can offer!
Thanks for the great product, I'm looking forward to future updates. If a paid-for edition would be better for development,
count me in
