Apparently Amazon is the issue wrt PocketPedia. Perhaps, instead of trying to please them and getting locked down again , why not switch to a different bookstore altogether? Powell's Books is an independent bookseller that would be happy to have PocketPedia use its Partner Program and API. I've been a partner for years, and Powell's rocks.

Thank you for the information and links to the Powell's partner program. Unfortunately, Powell's doesn't have an automated way for a program to query and obtain data for a particular book. However, if they ever do add and API, we will be excited to write a search plug-in for Powell's that allows our customers to work with their favorite book vendor, more data sources for Bookpedia as well as link backs to Powell's for users just discovering the book store.
