year of publication

Hello,

I'm unable to enter correctly the year of publication of a book in bookpedia.
There is always a month before it. It is terrible for older books. How to work with that. Any ideas?

Go into the Preferences/General (found under the Bookpedia menu) and in the field 'Release' under Date Formats, enter %Y or %y, depending on whether you want the year with or with century. Then restart Bookpedia and you'll see only the year in the 'Release' field, no month.

Another question (though it may be the wrong board): Is there any tool for to put in journals, perodicas, etc ?

You can track journals and periodicals but you would need to add the information yourself, we don't have an journal specific search sites.
