Some time ago did not work properly Filmaffinity script and I introduced many movies manually.
Now I'm interested in upgrading by the script automatically.
To clear the fields so I want to update but sometimes do not get the movie that had indroduce (all films have the link to the movie correctly.)

Example

I update :
[•REC]
http://www.filmaffinity.com//es/film575554.html

and I get :
Muerte a la carta (TV)
http://www.filmaffinity.com/es/film494487.html

Is a bug or do something wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the bug report, it was a search encoding issue with the • symbol. You can download DVDpedia beta 54 for the fix.

Thanks Conor, but I think don´t work fine.

By the example I request information on this film:

http://www.filmaffinity.com//es/film575554.html

All the info is wrong and also only takes one director and are two.

Thanks in advance.

I have updated the plug-in to add both directors (instead of just one), add the official web page link and the user rating.

Sorry Conor,

Still not working.
I erase all the information and keep adding wrong.
I mean when I upgrade, however if I add the movie all fields are corrects.
I hope your review is wrong.

A greeting and thanks for your attention.

In this case the first search result for [•REC] is "[•REC] Apocalipsis", you would need to use the gear button to select the correct result. However, I have updated the plug-in to take the current URL into account and do an exact match if you have already a Film Affinity url set. Do please try a new download of the beta.

If you mean the previous beta and I have tried the same thing happens.
I add the movie, then delete the field director for example, then I update the film but I just always picks up the first.

Of course the link to the website is correct.

I think something is bad or I haven´t the beta correct.

Thanks in advance.

If you visit the about panel under the DVDpedia menu the beta tag should say "55", for the latest one.

Thanks Conor,

You're right, now everything goes perfect except two things:

In the title field comes the url of the page.

In the field director, the second director comes with two spaces at the beginning.

Is possible to have an update of the script?

Thanks a lot, are always very friendly.

I fixed the double space in the second director with DVDpedia beta 56, however I was never able to duplicate the URL being placed inside the title field. If you have Xcode installed and know a little programming you could try modifying your own copy of the plug-in.

Is possible you try to fix in the nex update?

Thanks in advance.

The URL should not appear in the title field. Please try a search for "Gladiator" and add it to your database then drag it out into the Finder and send me the resulting .dcard so I can take a look at the information as you get it.

Download beta 60 of DVDpedia and the problem should be fixed.
