There are many services to download movie's info. Some are more comprehensive than others, so it would be nice to allow overwriting when fetching fields that already are in our item in DVDpedia.

One use case: I want IMDb as my main "fields provider", but since i'm spanish, I want movies spanish descriptions from Filmaffinity. I mean, all fields from IMDb, but descriptions from Filmaffinity. As far as I know, there is no way to accomplish this.

The Pedias are set to never overwrite information already present so if you want to update information with data from another site, delete the fields you want to update first (you can do this in a batch for all movies at once with the multiple edit function) and then use the gear button to gather further information from the site you want.
