L.s.
I'm now the proud owner of a handscanner and with a link to discogs scanning my cd's is a breeze. I scan everything because of the completeness of data. The thing is. Some disks are already in the database. And while the Discogs entries have more info there are still some fields to copy. Like links and links to files. What I would like is to merge two records and select the fields to overwrite. It's mostly the track and links files which are in the wrong record now. So how do I copy fields, like a track list or a link list from one record to the other? In one go?
An export, fiddle about with BBedit and an import? Tried that with another problem (sort names) but that messed up the links to the images pretty badly.
Anybody a hint?
Thanks in advance

Hi and welcome to these forums.
In answer to your question, there really isn't a built in 'merge' function in the pedia's per se. Over the years this has been suggested and it has been on the to do list.
