find disappears

Post by jehale »

Bizarre.
Just update MacOS 14.1 and tried Find in DVDPedia.
Pasted movie title and pressed search and all seemed fine until the DLOG disappeared.
looked behind main window in case it slipped behind, but no it was gone.
The trend adding manually and entering the IMBD title number, but the IMDB look up has gone.
Perhaps the find DLOG vanishes in getting and IMDB return?
Went to change Find target and the IMDB search has gone?

Are you using the latest release version 7.0 Beta 306 which was released today?

I have finished updating all the search sites for the new Apple Silicon code and they should all appear, including IMDB in the latest version as mentioned by Finewine.

I have seen an intermittent bug with MacOS 14 and Amazon searches, where that happens. Hoping to fix in the next few weeks, as MacOS wants all internet queries to happen in the background, instead of making the user wait and have to change the framework of the search plugins to allow for this.
