Mark as "to read" or "to sell"

is it possible to extend the list of things we can mark books for beyond wish list, borrowed, and last read? i would love to quickly add a "to read" tag as well as a "to sell" tag, and allow those to go to smart collections.

Use one of the custom columns. Just put y (for 'yes') in that column and then make a smart collection of the items in the column which are marked y.
