It would be useful to be able to form groups of collections - I have only recently begaun to catelogue my collection and can't see this feature. For example, a "World Music" group could contain Indian music, Chinese music, etc; a Jazz group could contain collections corresponding to each artist; a classical group could contain collections corresponding to each composer. Apple's Mail is a good model for this.

You can create new collections and drag and drop the entries to form a new group. There are also smart collections that will group music based on a criteria. Say "genre contains Indian" and "genre contains chinese" and name it World Music, the smart collection will update automatically as you add new entries and change the genre on old entries. There is also the ability to create folders under the file menu, which might have been what you meant.
