Deleting old data

In DVDPedia, I used a custom field to enter data. Then, in one of the updates, Conor added the same field so that I no longer needed the custom field. I am now using the custom field again to get different data, but I have found that the old data is still there, even though the field name is different. As I have almost 1000 entries, how can I delete all of the entries in this field?

Select all entries and choose 'Edit' to bring up the multi-edit window. Then check the box next to the field you want to clear and leave it empty. Press the OK button to close the multi-edit window.

Thanks for your helpful reply. Unfortunately, since the field is not used, it does not show in the multi-edit window. I tried to give it a name in preferences, but it still does not show.

Turn the field on in the Preferences/Fields so that it'll appear in the multi-edit window (check the little box next to it). Afterwards you can turn it off again.
