Problem with new CDPedia 5.0.2

Hello everybody, I upgraded this morning my CDPedia to v. 5.0.2 and now, each time I edit a record, my sort is modified :? I choose a record, I click Edit, I update or I modify what I want, I click OK and the initial sort is modified : instead of Author, Title, Chef, I have only a sort on Author and...

Two requests...

Hello, I have two requests for CDPedia : 1) is it possible to duplicate a CD ? I have many CDs with exactly the same informations and just a small difference. To make my life easy, I would like to be able to duplicate the fist one as often as I need. 2) is it possible to modify a large group of reco...

Re: Sort problem !

This is where the 'Sort Artist' field comes in that I mentioned in my previous post. Turn that field on in the Preferences/Fields and then use it to tell the program exactly how you want it to sort certain artists. So for example you'd sort your Artist column by first name and then for entries that...

Re: Problem with statistics

Hello, I have a new problem with statistics : if I listen the same CD, 2 following days, only the last time is taken in count. The number of CDs listened doesn't change and in the list of last CD listened, only the last time is mentioned. It's also the same if I listen 2 following times the same CD...

Re: Sort problem !

What would you sort "Noir désir" and "Lynyrd Skynyrd" under? You can always use the 'Sort Artist' field to tell the program how exactly you want a particular artist sorted. (If you don't see the field turn it on in the Preferences/Fields.) I do not know if my english is good eno...

Sort problem !

The new name format is relatively acceptable but not really useful ! I have many bands with a name like "Noir désir" or "Lynyrd Skynyrd" for which Noir or Lynyrd is not the first name and Désir or Skynyrd is not the family name? That's a problem because whatever the kind of sort ...

Re: How to still fill in my database from Amazon

Nora wrote:The display is always the same now: Firstname Lastname. But you can flip between sorting by first name or last by holding down the Option key and re-sorting the Artist column.
OK, thank you :!:

Re: How to still fill in my database from Amazon

Please send us your Database.pediadata file so we can take a look at your data here. If you have a large database, archive the file before sending it to save space. (Select it and choose 'Archive' or 'Compress' from the File menu. That'll create a new file called 'Database.pediadata.zip' which you ...

Re: How to still fill in my database from Amazon

Many thanks for your prompt reply :!: Concerning Amazon, everything works well now. Apparently, to obtain CD informations from iSight, this is the only way... :? How to still fill in my database from Amazon

Hello, Congratulations for your V.5. I am a little bit lost, some things are strange (why first name and surname are separated ?) but after some days I hope it should be OK. My problem is that there is only one site to download CD informations in french (Alapge) but it don't recognize CD from iSight...
